Fees

Individual sessions are $220 for 50 minutes
A sliding scale is available from $180 per session

Couples sessions are $240 for 50 minutes

Supervision/Mentoring sessions are $220 + GST for 60 minutes
A sliding scale is available from $180 plus GST per session

Consultancy services are negotiated with agencies/services

Cancellations

Cancellations within 24 hours will be charged at the full fee.

Medicare

Medicare provides a rebate of $98.95 for those who are referred by their GP, a psychiatrist or a paediatrician for treatment of a mental health disorder.

To claim this rebate you will need a referral letter plus a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP or a referral letter from your psychiatrist or paediatrician.

Please bring the Mental Health Care Plan and the referral letter with you to the initial appointment. A total of 10 sessions can be rebated, per calendar year, through Medicare.

Private Health Funds

As Karen is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and a Registered Psychologist some Health Funds offer rebates for sessions. Please contact your Health Fund if you are unsure what they offer.
